An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, passionate, and experienced Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a vibrant and nurturing early years setting in Barnet. This position is ideal for a proactive and enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner who is ready to take the next step in their career and make a real impact on children’s early learning experiences. The nursery is well-established within the local community, offering a warm, inclusive, and engaging space for children aged 0-5.

Responsibilities:

As a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

• Creating a safe, secure, and stimulating environment where children feel confident, valued, and supported.

• Planning and delivering fun, creative, and educational activities based on the EYFS curriculum.

• Observing, tracking, and assessing children's progress, and tailoring learning experiences accordingly.

• Building positive relationships with children, families, and carers.

• Promoting children's independence, emotional well-being, and social development.

• Maintaining a well-organised, clean, and engaging setting.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education.

• Upholding safeguarding procedures, health and safety standards, and all relevant nursery policies.

Requirements:

To apply for the role of Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you must have:

• A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (essential).

• An enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willing to update).

• Prior experience as a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner in a nursery or early years setting.

• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and statutory guidelines.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.

• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
