Location: Camden, North London
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £100 – £110 per day (based on experience and qualification level)
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time (with potential for year-round work)

About the Nursery:
A well-established private nursery in the heart of Camden is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated early years team from September 2025. The nursery offers a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports children from ages 6 months to 5 years, with a strong emphasis on child-led learning, creative exploration, and individual development.

This is a full-time role, ideally suited to a practitioner who is committed to delivering high standards of care and education in a private nursery setting. The nursery has a reputation for quality practice and invests in staff development through regular training and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for all children.

• Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s development in line with the EYFS framework.

• Carry out observations and assessments to track children’s progress.

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

• Contribute to maintaining a well-organised and inviting learning space.

• Work collaboratively as part of a team and take initiative when required.

• Ensure all safeguarding, health, and hygiene standards are met at all times.

• Uphold the values and standards of the nursery as a trusted Level 2/3 Nursery Practitioner.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (CACHE, NVQ or equivalent).

• An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.

• Previous experience in a nursery or early years environment, ideally in a private or independent setting.

• Good knowledge of the EYFS and child development principles.

• A positive, flexible, and professional attitude.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.
