Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming nursery located within a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Harrow. This is a full-time, term-time only role starting in September 2025, ideal for an experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner seeking a school-based setting.

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who can support children aged 3 to 5 in their early development and learning, while working collaboratively with an established nursery and teaching team.

Key Responsibilities of the Level 3 Nursery Practitioner:

• Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework.

• Observe, monitor and record children’s progress as a professional Level 3 Nursery Practitioner.

• Foster positive and trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

• Uphold a safe, secure, and inclusive environment at all times.

• Work closely with teaching staff and fellow early years professionals in the school.

• Contribute to assessments, planning, and reviews as a proactive Level 3 Nursery Practitioner.

• Promote the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of all children.

• Ensure all safeguarding responsibilities are met in accordance with school policies.

Essential Requirements for the Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Role:

• A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

• A current, enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.

• Proven experience as a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner in an early years or nursery setting.

• Solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and best practices in early education.

• A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic attitude essential for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner role.

• Strong communication, observation, and planning skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider school team.
