Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Letchworth Garden City
Location: Letchworth Garden City, North Hertfordshire
Start Date: As soon as possible or September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a nurturing and inclusive infant school in Letchworth Garden City.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, proactive support to class teachers and pupils, primarily across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1
Assist in the delivery of planned learning activities, including one-to-one and small group interventions
Support pupils with additional or special educational needs, ensuring their full inclusion and continued progress
Help to maintain a safe, stimulating, and positive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and development
Contribute to classroom planning, preparation, and evaluation, working closely with teachers and other staff
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support a holistic approach to each child's education
We Are Looking for a Candidate Who:
Holds a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
Has relevant experience working within an infant or primary school setting
Demonstrates a genuine passion for early childhood education and child development
Possesses excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a flexible and proactive approach
Is patient, nurturing, and dedicated to supporting all children to reach their full potential
An enhanced DBS check will be required for this position. If you do not currently have one, you must be willing to undergo the necessary checks prior to employment.
