Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant – Brent

Pay: £96 – £105 per day

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a well-established nursery in the heart of Brent. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to support the early development of young children in a nurturing and engaging environment.

About the Role:

As a Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with nursery staff to provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years. You will support the planning and delivery of activities that promote the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of each child, while ensuring a safe and supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

• Assist in planning and delivering a range of age-appropriate learning activities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support as needed

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and secure environment where every child feels valued

• Contribute to maintaining accurate observations and assessments of children’s progress

• Collaborate effectively with nursery staff, parents, and other professionals

• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety at all times

• Help manage daily routines including meal times, toileting, and rest periods

Requirements:

• A recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)

• Experience working within a nursery or early years environment

• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A patient, caring, and professional approach to working with young children

• A current and valid Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is essential

• Right to work in the UK
