About the Role:

As an EYFS teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher with daily activities, delivering engaging learning experiences, and nurturing young children's development during their early years of education. The successful teaching assistant will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that supports every child to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the class teacher in the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum

• Supporting individual pupils and small groups to ensure progress

• Creating a warm, nurturing classroom atmosphere

• Assisting with assessments and observations of pupil development

• Helping to manage behaviour in line with school policies

• Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support children's learning

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a teaching assistant, preferably in an EYFS setting

• A valid Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willing to obtain one)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners

• A genuine interest in early childhood education and development
