Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Hillingdon

Location: Hillingdon, North West London

A large and supportive primary school in Hillingdon is recruiting a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher

• Support whole-class, small-group, and 1:1 learning

• Assist with lesson planning and resource preparation

• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

• Support pupils with SEN and additional learning needs

• Maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines

• Work collaboratively with teachers and senior leaders

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience

• Previous experience working across primary key stages

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Confident and adaptable approach

• DBS clearance required
