As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key part in creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you’ll help deliver high-quality learning experiences and provide additional assistance to pupils who need extra support.Your main responsibilities will include:
Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation.
Working one-to-one or with small groups to reinforce learning and boost confidence.
Assisting pupils with additional needs to ensure inclusion and equal access to learning.
Promoting positive behaviour and a respectful classroom culture.
Helping to maintain a safe, organised, and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (desirable but not essential).
A genuine passion for supporting learning and development.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
A proactive, flexible, and caring approach.
An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
