The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide small-group and one-to-one support, and contribute to the overall development and well-being of pupils. • Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

  • Support pupils’ social and emotional development, encouraging independence and confidence.

  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom times such as lunch and break.

Requirements

  • SEN experience is advantageous but not essential.

  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s education and well-being.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Reliable, proactive, and flexible in approach.

  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Benefits

  • Join a welcoming and supportive primary school community.

  • Gain valuable classroom-based experience in a mainstream setting.

  • Opportunities for professional development and training.

  • Competitive pay, with the potential for a longer-term or permanent role.

  • Work as part of a dedicated and collaborative staff team.
