Start Date: ASAP

We are working with a welcoming and supportive SEN primary school in Hayes, Hillingdon, who are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career in education while making a real impact every single day.
The Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and other support staff to provide tailored support for pupils with a variety of needs. Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing 1:1 support for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring their specific learning goals are met.
Assisting in small group interventions, helping children develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and social interaction.
Supporting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued.
Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging emotional regulation and independence.
Helping to adapt learning materials and strategies to suit pupils’ individual abilities and learning styles.
Working collaboratively with staff and parents to support pupils’ progress both in school and at home.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Proven experience supporting children with SEN (essential).
A calm, patient, and resilient approach with the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Availability to start as soon as possible and commit to a full-time, long-term role.
