We are working with a fantastic two-form entry mainstream primary school in Harrow, rated Good by Ofsted, who are seeking a dedicated teacher to join their team from December 2025.

This is a maternity cover contract for 1 year, with the genuine potential to become permanent depending on performance. The school has a strong reputation for high standards, a welcoming ethos, and a supportive staff team that works collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

The Role

• Teaching a Year 2 class within a well-structured two-form entry school.

• Working alongside a year group partner for shared planning and delivery.

• Delivering creative, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

• Ensuring children are well-prepared for their end of Key Stage 1 assessments.

• Contributing to the wider school community through clubs, assemblies, and whole-school initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.

• Strong knowledge of the curriculum and SATs preparation.

• High expectations of behaviour and achievement.

• A reflective, proactive practitioner who works well in a team.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
