Job Title: KS1 Teacher

Job Type: 8am – 4pm  

Location: Hackney  

Salary: £140- £200 Per Day

The Role: KS1 Teacher – Hackney

In this role, you will inspire and motivate pupils by building positive relationships and encouraging them to think critically and develop problem-solving abilities. Lessons will be carefully planned and delivered in a dynamic and engaging way, tailored to meet the needs of learners across a range of abilities, in line with the KS1 National Curriculum. You will be joining a welcoming primary school that values inclusivity, supports professional growth, and is committed to creating a nurturing environment for both staff and students

As a KS1 Teacher you will be expected to:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across core subjects
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies
• Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and safe learning environment.
• Implement school behaviours policies and manage classroom behaviours effectively.
• Regularly assess student progress through observation, marking, tests, and formative assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of each pupil’s development.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external specialists when needed

Qualifications and requirements – KS1 Teacher – Hackney

• QTS is required
• Enhanced DBS is required
• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
