Job Type: 8:30am -4pm

Location: Camden

Salary: £96-£105 Per day  

The Role: Early Years Teaching Assistant – Camden

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will be working with in Reception where every day is filled with curiosity and discovery. You’ll be working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities, support learning through play, and help our pupils develop essential early skills. A part of your role will involve providing additional support to children with Special Educational Needs, helping them feel included, confident, and ready to learn.

An Early Years Teaching Assistant will be expected to:

• Supporting whole-class learning, small group activities, and 1:1 interventions
• Encouraging independence in early reading, writing, and number skills
• Helping children develop social skills, confidence, and a love of learning
• Adapting activities to meet the needs of children with additional learning or communication needs
• Assisting with creative, outdoor, and sensory-based learning experiences
• Building warm, positive relationships with children, staff, and families

Qualifications and requirements – Early Years Teaching Assistant – Camden

• Experience working with Early years students
• Experience working with SEN needs is ideal
• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
