Position: Part-Time PPA Teacher (Primary)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Ongoing (via agency)
Pay: £140–£200 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)Are you a flexible and enthusiastic primary teacher looking for part-time work in a well-regarded school? Our partner primary school in St Albans is seeking a Part-Time PPA Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on an ongoing basis.
This position is offered via our agency and is ideal for someone who enjoys varied teaching without the full responsibilities of a class teacher role.
???? The Role:
- Deliver high-quality lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 (depending on your strengths)
- Provide cover for class teachers during their PPA time
- Work collaboratively with staff to maintain a positive learning environment
- No long-term planning or assessment responsibilities
???? Working Pattern:
- 2 to 3 days per week (flexible on days)
- Term-time only
- Ongoing contract with potential for extension or temp-to-perm
✅ Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience in UK primary schools
- Confident with classroom and behaviour management
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
- Able to commit to consistent weekly availability
