Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
Create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment that encourages children to achieve their best.
Work closely with year group colleagues to plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum.
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues, fostering a strong sense of community.
Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in meetings, training, and school events.
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, and well-being for all pupils.
Uphold the school’s values and contribute to its culture of excellence and inclusion.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in the UK.
A thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Proven ability to create engaging lessons that inspire and challenge learners.
Excellent behaviour management skills and a commitment to nurturing the whole child.
A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching and professional growth.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
Desirable:
Experience teaching within a three-form entry primary school.
Confidence using modern educational technologies to support learning.
Evidence of contributing to extracurricular activities or wider school initiatives.
