  • Track and assess children’s progress accurately using formative and summative methods

  • Build strong relationships with families and involve them in their child’s learning journey

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including participation in staff meetings, INSET days, and school events

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

  • Experience teaching in Early Years, ideally within a Reception class in a UK setting

  • Up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework and current best practices in early learning and development

  • A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one

  • Full availability from September 2025 for the full academic year

  • Strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and a reflective, collaborative approach to teaching

  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting children’s development at this vital stage

About the School:

This is a high-achieving, 3-form entry primary school in Harrow, consistently rated Outstanding by Ofsted, with a reputation for academic excellence and a nurturing, inclusive environment. The school benefits from strong leadership, a forward-thinking curriculum, and a well-resourced EYFS setting that promotes hands-on learning and child-led exploration.

The school is proud of its diverse community and fosters a culture of mutual respect, high expectations, and continuous professional growth. Staff work collaboratively across year groups and benefit from shared planning and extensive CPD opportunities.

Benefits:

  • Competitive daily rate of £200 - £220, depending on experience

  • Collaborative, well-supported EYFS team with excellent planning structures

  • Access to high-quality teaching resources and a well-equipped learning environment

  • Opportunities for CPD and career progression within an Outstanding school

  • Positive, respectful school culture with strong leadership support

  • Convenient location in Harrow with excellent public transport links and on-site parking
