Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Pay: £17 – £20 per hour (depending on experience)A well-established primary school in Westminster is seeking an organised, professional, and experienced School Administrator to join their front office team from September 2025. This is a key position in the school and requires someone who can manage a range of administrative responsibilities with efficiency, accuracy, and discretion.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff and must have prior experience working within a school environment. SIMS experience and a valid enhanced DBS check are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage front-of-house duties including answering calls, greeting visitors, and handling enquiries in a professional manner.
Use SIMS to manage pupil data, attendance records, and admissions.
Maintain and update school records, databases, and registers.
Support the senior leadership team with administrative tasks, correspondence, and report preparation.
Assist with managing the school calendar, diary appointments, and communication with parents.
Handle incoming and outgoing post, emails, and deliveries.
Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times, particularly with sensitive pupil information.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a School Administrator in a UK school (essential).
Proficiency with SIMS and Arbor.
A current, enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
High level of organisation and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy school office environment.
