Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences in Reception, following the EYFS framework.
Plan, assess, and adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of all children.
Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
Work collaboratively with Early Years colleagues and support staff to ensure a consistent and high-quality provision.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support children's development and learning journey.
Contribute to wider school life, professional development, and ongoing school improvement.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) – essential
Experience teaching in Early Years, ideally in a Reception setting
Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development
A creative, nurturing, and reflective teaching style
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding
