Educate Staffing is working in partnership with a high-performing and forward-thinking primary school in Watford to appoint a passionate and experienced Key Stage 2 Class Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher ready to take on a new challenge with leadership potential, supported by a dedicated senior leadership team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a central role in shaping high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stage 2, while also contributing to whole-school improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum

• Provide effective classroom leadership and maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning

• Use assessment data to monitor progress and adapt teaching to support all pupils

• Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

• Support curriculum development and contribute to school improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil achievement

• Take on a leadership responsibility appropriate to your skills and experience

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Significant experience teaching in Key Stage 2

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and inspire pupils and colleagues

• Proven track record of raising attainment and accelerating progress

• Excellent subject knowledge and strong understanding of curriculum planning

• Confidence in using data to inform teaching and learning

• High standards of professionalism and a commitment to continuous improvement

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience in a middle or subject leadership role

• Knowledge of SEND and inclusive classroom strategies

• Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school life

• A coaching or mentoring background (desirable but not essential)
