Job Type: 8 am – 4pm
Location: Croydon
Salary: £140- £200
The Role: Reception Teacher – Croydon
As a Reception Teacher, you will be creating a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment where children aged 4 to 5 can explore, discover, and develop their key skills. You will plan and deliver play-based, creative learning experiences that foster curiosity, communication, social skills, and early literacy and numeracy. This role enables you provide a positive start in students education where you can create strong relationships with students and parents to provide the best support to students academic and emotional development.

A Reception Teacher you will be expected to:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging lessons based on the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Establish a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom that encourages exploration and independence.
- Observe and assess children’s development and learning regularly.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and safe learning environment.
- Implement school behaviours policies and manage classroom behaviours effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of each pupil’s development.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external specialists when needed
Qualifications and requirements –Reception Teacher – Croydon
- QTS is required
- Enhanced DBS is required
- Proven ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
