Rated ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED, the school is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Class Teacher to join their committed Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team in September 2025.

The Role
As a Reception Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a stimulating and developmentally appropriate curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. You will:
Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Monitor and assess pupils’ progress through observations and formative assessment
Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Work closely with phase leaders and support staff to plan high-quality learning experiences
Promote early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development
Uphold the school’s commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a committed professional who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and best practices in early years education
Demonstrates creativity, adaptability, and a passion for child development
Is reflective, collaborative, and willing to engage in continuous professional learning
Communicates effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Is committed to raising outcomes for all children within an inclusive setting
Early career teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply. The school offers an excellent induction programme and ongoing mentoring support.
