Description

PPA Teacher – Harrow – September Start (Trial ASAP)

Location: Harrow, North West London
Position: Full-Time PPA (Planning, Preparation & Assessment) Teacher
Start Date: September 2025
Daily Rate: £180 – £200 per day
Contract: Long-term

Educate Staffing is currently recruiting for a flexible and experienced PPA Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Harrow. The role begins in September 2025, with trial days available immediately.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who enjoys teaching across different year groups and thrives in a varied, fast-paced role.

About the Role:

As a PPA Teacher, you will be responsible for covering classes across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring high-quality learning in the absence of class teachers. This is an ideal role for a confident, adaptable teacher who enjoys variety and working as part of a collaborative teaching team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across various primary year groups

  • Maintain classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy

  • Support learning and provide continuity of teaching

  • Provide constructive feedback and complete basic marking where required

  • Adapt to different class needs and contribute to the school community

  • Work closely with senior leadership and teaching staff to maintain high standards of education

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

  • Experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2)

  • Excellent classroom management and adaptability

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (required)

Benefits of the Role:

  • Competitive daily pay (£180 – £200 depending on experience)

  • No full-time planning or marking responsibilities

  • Opportunity to teach across year groups and broaden your experience

  • Supportive leadership team and welcoming school environment

  • Professional development opportunities and CPD training

  • Long-term consistency without the pressures of a permanent class teacher role

  • Easily accessible location in Harrow, close to public transport links

About the School:

This friendly and inclusive school in Harrow is committed to high standards and providing a nurturing, engaging learning environment for all pupils. The leadership team values staff wellbeing and offers a culture of respect, support, and collaboration.

You’ll be part of a professional and welcoming team that is passionate about education and staff development.
