Location: Harrow, North West London
Position: Full-Time PPA (Planning, Preparation & Assessment) Teacher
Start Date: September 2025
Daily Rate: £180 – £200 per day
Contract: Long-termEducate Staffing is currently recruiting for a flexible and experienced PPA Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Harrow. The role begins in September 2025, with trial days available immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who enjoys teaching across different year groups and thrives in a varied, fast-paced role.
About the Role:
As a PPA Teacher, you will be responsible for covering classes across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring high-quality learning in the absence of class teachers. This is an ideal role for a confident, adaptable teacher who enjoys variety and working as part of a collaborative teaching team.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across various primary year groups
Maintain classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy
Support learning and provide continuity of teaching
Provide constructive feedback and complete basic marking where required
Adapt to different class needs and contribute to the school community
Work closely with senior leadership and teaching staff to maintain high standards of education
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2)
Excellent classroom management and adaptability
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (required)
