KS1 Teacher – Camden – September Start (Trial ASAP)

Location: Camden, North London
Position: Full-Time KS1 Teacher
Start Date: September 2025 (Trial/Interview ASAP)
Daily Rate: £180 – £200 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Long-term
DBS: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required

Educate Staffing is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher for a full-time position at a well-regarded primary school in Camden. This role will begin in September 2025, with trial days available immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for Key Stage 1

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Assess and track pupil progress in line with the national curriculum

• Collaborate with teaching assistants and other colleagues to support learning outcomes

• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

• Participate in school-wide activities, meetings, and training

• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

• Proven classroom experience teaching KS1 pupils

• Excellent understanding of the national curriculum for Key Stage 1

• Strong classroom management and organisational skills

• Positive attitude and commitment to raising pupil achievement

• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one

Desirable Attributes:

• Familiarity with phonics schemes such as Read Write Inc.

• Previous experience working in inner-London schools

• A commitment to contributing to the wider school community
