Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Nurse

Job Type: 8:30am -4 pm, ASAP Start 

Location: Hackney 

Salary: £96-£105

The Role: Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Hackney

As a Level 3 Nursery Nurse, you will have the opportunity to aid in the development of young children. You will support young children, teaching them social skills and create a safe environment where students are nurtured and are able to thrive.

This nursery aims to provide children with the best start in life, supporting children in development and preparing students for Reception. You will become part of a team environment, supporting other members of staff when possible to do so.

A Level 3 Nursery Nurse will be expected to:

• Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children.
• Support children’s development in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Observe and assess each child’s development and maintain accurate records.
• Identify and support children with additional needs.
• Encourage creativity, self-expression, and social interaction.
• Ensure children are safe and secure at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns to the designated safeguarding lead.
• Act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with them and their families.

Qualifications and requirements – Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Hackney  

• Level 3 Qualification in Early Years
• Experience in a similar role/ Leading Interventions
• Experience working with SEND needs
• Enhanced DBS is required
• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
