Educate Staffing is seeking a passionate and inspiring Part-Time Art Teacher to join a vibrant and creative department at our outstanding independent boarding school in Harpenden, starting in September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with motivated and talented pupils in a school renowned for academic excellence, creativity, and a strong sense of community. The successful candidate will bring energy, innovation, and a genuine enthusiasm for the visual arts, helping students to develop both technical skill and individual expression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality art lessons across Key Stages 3 to 4
• Encourage creativity and confidence in a range of media and techniques
• Contribute to exhibitions, school displays, and extracurricular art activities
• Support students in developing portfolios for GCSE, A-Level, and further education

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified teacher with a strong background in Art and Design
• Has experience teaching in a secondary school setting (boarding experience desirable but not essential)
• Is enthusiastic, collaborative, and committed to nurturing young talent
• Can contribute to the broader life of a boarding school community
