Salary: £96-£105

The Role: Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Newham

As a Level 3 Nursery Nurse, you will have the opportunity to aid in the development of young children. You will support young children, teaching them social skills and create a safe environment where students are nurtured and are able to thrive.

This nursery prides themselves of having an inclusive learning environment where each student learns through play. You will be working with students with SEN needs, aiding in social and sensory development. They offer fantastic support to all members of staff.

A Level 3 Nursery Nurse will be expected to:

• Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children.
• Support children’s development in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Observe and assess each child’s development and maintain accurate records.
• Identify and support children with additional needs.
• Encourage creativity, self-expression, and social interaction.
• Ensure children are safe and secure at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns to the designated safeguarding lead.
• Act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with them and their families.

Qualifications and requirements – Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Newham

• Level 3 Qualification in Early Years
• Experience in a similar role/ Leading Interventions
• Experience working with SEND needs
• Enhanced DBS is required
• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
