TEACHING ASSISTANT – BRENT

An excellent primary school in Brent is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026.

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children’s learning and development within a vibrant and inclusive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Deliver targeted interventions and small-group support.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
• Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
• Help create a safe and stimulating classroom environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patient, proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
