About the Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team in a well-established nursery based in Tooting, Wandsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on early years experience who is passionate about supporting young children’s development, even if you do not hold formal childcare qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the daily care and supervision of children aged 0–5 years
Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
Help maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating nursery setting
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members
Observe and report on children’s development and wellbeing
Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times
Requirements
Previous experience working with young children (nursery, preschool, childcare, or similar)
A genuine passion for early years education and child development
Good communication and teamwork skills
A positive, proactive, and caring attitude
Basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training can be provided)
Ability to commit to full-time hours
