Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: West Kilburn, Brent
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: ASAPA welcoming and inclusive primary school in West Kilburn, within the London Borough of Brent, is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work within their Nursery provision.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team within a vibrant primary school community, helping to provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing early years environment for our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality early years provision
Work with individuals and small groups to support learning and development
Assist with planning and preparing engaging activities
Support children’s social, emotional and behavioural development
Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are met at all times
Help maintain a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environmentThe Successful Candidate Will:
Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential)
Have experience working within a nursery or early years setting
Hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
Demonstrate a good understanding of the EYFS framework
Be patient, caring and enthusiastic
Be able to work effectively as part of a team
