About the Opportunity

We are an education recruitment agency currently working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Southall, Ealing, who are seeking reliable volunteers to support within the classroom.

This is an opportunity for candidates looking to gain school-based experience, with a strong pathway to paid placements through the agency for those who demonstrate commitment, professionalism, and suitability.

Responsibilities

• Supporting class teachers with daily classroom activities

• Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils

• Assisting with learning tasks and engagement

• Supporting pupils with their social, emotional, and behavioural needs

• Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

• Adhering to safeguarding policies at all times

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS certificate already obtained

• Availability to start immediately

• A genuine interest in working in a primary school setting

• Professional, reliable, and punctual

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Previous experience working with children is advantageous but not essential
