Supply Teacher – Barnet
Location: Barnet, London
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Flexible, Part-time (2–3 days per week)
Requirements: QTS and valid DBSWe are seeking an experienced and adaptable Supply Teacher to work across a range of local primary schools in Barnet. This role offers flexibility while allowing you to make a positive impact in classrooms from EYFS through to KS2.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, following school plans where provided.
Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment, ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported.
Adapt your teaching to suit different year groups, curriculum requirements, and school settings.
Mark work and provide appropriate feedback in line with school policies when required.
Build strong working relationships with staff and contribute professionally to the school community.
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and adhere to all school procedures.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A valid, enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Previous classroom experience within UK primary schools across EYFS–KS2.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners of varying ages and abilities.
Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to day-to-day teaching.
Ability to travel to schools across the Barnet area.
