We are currently recruiting motivated and adaptable Supply Teachers to join our team supporting a range of welcoming and well-resourced primary schools across Barnet. About the Role

As a Supply Teacher, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining a high standard of teaching and learning when permanent staff are unavailable. Each day will bring new experiences and opportunities to make a positive impact on pupils’ education.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging, pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 classes.

• Managing the classroom effectively to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.

• Adapting quickly to new school settings, staff teams, and pupils.

• Following each school’s policies, routines, and behaviour systems.

• Providing constructive feedback to pupils and ensuring smooth handovers to class teachers.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

• Classroom teaching experience in a primary setting (EYFS–KS2)

• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

• Strong communication, organisational and behaviour management skills

• A professional, reliable and flexible approach to teaching
