Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Harrow
Educate Staffing is seeking a committed and motivated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the London Borough of Harrow. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning while gaining valuable classroom experience.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teaching staff, helping to create a positive and stimulating environment where every child can succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Work under the guidance of class teachers to deliver engaging and interactive learning activities.
Provide one-to-one support or lead small group interventions to help pupils reinforce key skills in core subjects.
Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).
Assist in preparing classroom resources, displays, and materials to enhance learning opportunities.
Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that promotes respect and high standards of behaviour.
Supervise pupils during non-classroom times such as breaks, lunch periods, and school outings.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure pupils’ academic and personal progress.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or in a similar child-centred role is advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both pupils and colleagues.
A flexible, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning needs.
A genuine passion for education and a desire to contribute to the progress of young learners.
Good literacy and numeracy skills to support classroom activities.
A valid Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to apply for one through Educate Staffing.
