Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Ealing
Educate Staffing is currently recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Ealing. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to make a meaningful contribution to children’s learning and development. The school is seeking someone who can start as soon as possible, bringing commitment, enthusiasm, and a professional approach to the role.
The successful candidate will become an integral part of the classroom team, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that every child is able to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Work under the direction of the class teacher to support the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
Provide individualised assistance to pupils who may require additional support, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or English as an Additional Language (EAL).
Lead small group interventions to reinforce key skills in literacy, numeracy, and other subject areas.
Assist in the preparation of classroom resources, teaching aids, and displays to create an organised and stimulating learning environment.
Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies, ensuring that the classroom remains focused, respectful, and conducive to learning.
Supervise pupils during lunch, break times, and educational outings, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support the holistic development of pupils.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or in another child-centred role is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
A positive attitude and a genuine interest in helping children reach their full potential.
Good literacy and numeracy skills.
A valid Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to apply for one through Educate Staffing.
