Job Title: Primary Class Teacher

Contract Type: Full Time, ContractWe are looking for a passionate and committed Primary Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive team at our small, community-centred primary school in Harrow. As a two-form entry school rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, we are proud of our inclusive ethos, high expectations, and nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is eager to make a meaningful contribution to school life and pupil development across the primary phase. The successful candidate will be appointed to a class based on experience and school need, which will be discussed during the interview process.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in a primary setting (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
A thorough understanding of the primary curriculum
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A reflective practitioner with high expectations of themselves and their pupils
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
A team player who contributes positively to school-wide initiatives
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging and well-differentiated lessons
Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with the year group partner and wider staff team
Use assessment effectively to inform planning and track pupil progress
Foster strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
Contribute to the broader life of the school, including events and extra-curricular activities
