A nurturing and well-established primary school in Harrow is seeking a warm, experienced, and creative Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2025.
This full-time position is ideal for a confident, qualified teacher with a passion for early childhood education and a solid understanding of the EYFS framework. You will take responsibility for a nursery class, supporting children at the earliest and most important stage of their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons and learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Observe, assess, and record pupil progress, tailoring activities to meet a range of developmental needs
Foster a secure, welcoming, and inspiring environment where children feel valued and confident
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Work collaboratively with the Early Years team and contribute to whole-school initiatives
Support children’s social, emotional, and communication skills through purposeful play and structured activities
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
At least one year of classroom experience, preferably in Nursery or EYFS
Sound understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum
Strong classroom management and organisation skills
Ability to plan creative, child-centred activities and monitor individual progress
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
