Job Title: Primary Teacher

Job Type: 8 am – 4pm, September Start

Location: Tower Hamlets

Salary: £140- £200 Per day

The Role: Primary Teacher – Tower Hamlets

You’ll be leading a vibrant classroom where children are encouraged to explore, question, and take ownership of their learning. With a broad curriculum and a strong emphasis on hands-on learning, cross-curricular links, and celebrating the diverse cultures and experiences of our pupils.

Collaboration is key at this Primary School. You’ll work closely with other teachers across the year group —sharing ideas, co-planning exciting lessons, and constantly learning from one another. Whether it’s through creative writing workshops, outdoor learning sessions, or project-based learning, you’ll be encouraged to try new approaches that make learning meaningful and memorable.

A Primary Teacher you will be expected to:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across core subjects
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies
• Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and safe learning environment.
• Implement school behaviours policies and manage classroom behaviours effectively.
• Regularly assess student progress through observation, marking, tests, and formative assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of each pupil’s development.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external specialists when needed

Qualifications and requirements – Primary Teacher – Tower Hamlets

• QTS is required
• Enhanced DBS is required
• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
