Uniform Rules

What do you think about the school uniform rules? We have noticed various discussions on this and whether there is a need to lighten the rules on uniform. It is not conducive for pupils to be in an environment where they might get in trouble for wearing the wrong shade of trousers or jumper. Would you prefer if your child(ren) wore uniform? Some say it can give them a sense of belonging whereas others argue uniform does not give children an opportunity to express themselves.
