Job Title: Senior Nursery Practitioner  

Job Type: 32 hrs or 40 hrs a week (Flexible hours)

Location: Lambeth  

Salary: £28,000 - £30,500

The Role: Senior Nursery Practitioner – Lambeth

As a Senior Nursery Practitioner in the Baby Room, you will play a key role in supporting the development and wellbeing of children aged 0 – 2 years old. You’ll be responsible for leading daily routines, building strong relationships with children and parents, and supporting the team to deliver exceptional care.

As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will be expected to:

• Provide high-quality care and learning experiences tailored to babies’ individual needs
• Lead and inspire a small team, offering guidance and support
•  Monitor and record developmental milestones using EYFS framework
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
• Work in close partnership with parents and carers
• Ensure health & safety and safeguarding policies are always upheld

Qualifications and requirements – Senior Nursery Practitioner – Lambeth

• Level 3 (or above) in Early Years Childcare
• Experience in a nursery setting
• Warm, nurturing, and professional with a strong understanding of baby development
• Confident in leading and supporting a team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
