Salary: £170 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (with potential for permanent placement)About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and committed Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Borehamwood for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time position offered on a long-term basis, with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, attainment, and behaviour
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and specialist staff to maximise learning outcomes
Foster strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and development
Participate in school life including staff meetings, CPD opportunities, and extra-curricular activities
Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the well-being of all pupils
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 in UK primary schools
Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum and assessment strategies
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to engage, inspire, and motivate pupils of all abilities
Committed to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Two recent and relevant references from previous school-based roles
Desirable Attributes
Familiarity with SATs preparation and KS2 assessment frameworks
Experience delivering targeted support or intervention programmes
Strong IT and digital learning skills
Experience working with diverse and multicultural student populations
