Job Type: 8am – 4pm  

Location: Hackney

Salary: £140- £200

The Role: Primary Teacher – Hackney

As a Primary Teacher, you will be teaching a Year 6 class of students of mixed abilities. You will have the opportunity to prepare students to start secondary school, ensuring each student is academically and socially ready to begin their next stage in life, delivering engaging, creative, and high-quality lessons that meet the diverse needs of your pupils. You will play a key role in fostering academic excellence, personal growth, and confidence in your class, while supporting their development in core subjects such as English, Maths, Science, and wider curriculum areas.

A Primary Teacher you will be expected to:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across core subjects
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies
• Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and safe learning environment.
• Implement school behaviours policies and manage classroom behaviours effectively.
• Regularly assess student progress through observation, marking, tests, and formative assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of each pupil’s development.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external specialists when needed

Qualifications and requirements – Primary Teacher – Hackney

• QTS is required
• Enhanced DBS is required
• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
