Location: Stanmore, Harrow
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time, ContractWe are currently recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Stanmore, Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their teaching career within a Reception class from September 2026.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children at a crucial stage of their development. You will work closely with experienced staff and receive structured mentoring as part of your ECT induction.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to school assessments and reports
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Valid DBS (on the Update Service or issued within the last 12 months)
- A passion for early years education and child development
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive, proactive, and reflective approach to teaching
