Job Title: Part-Time Nursery Assistant
Location: Hoddesdon, Broxbourne
Hours: 7:45am – 12:00pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAPAbout the role:
We are seeking a Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant (or equivalent) to join a busy and friendly early years setting in Hoddesdon, Broxbourne. This is a part-time position, working 7:45am – 12:00pm, covering both Breakfast Club and Nursery hours. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children’s early development in a welcoming and professional environment.Responsibilities:
Assist with the supervision and care of children attending Breakfast Club and Nursery
Support children’s learning and development in line with EYFS guidelines
Help plan and deliver fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities
Work closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
Support monitoring of children’s progress and communicate with the team and parents
Follow safeguarding and health & safety policies at all times
Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent (essential)
Current DBS check
Experience working in an early years setting
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passionate about supporting children’s growth and development
