Job Title: Part-Time Music Teacher – Barnet

Working Days: Monday & Friday

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Music Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Barnet. This part-time role involves teaching music across EYFS to KS2, helping pupils develop practical skills, confidence, and a love of music. The successful candidate will contribute to the school’s wider arts provision and collaborate closely with class teachers.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging music lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
Support pupils’ progression in singing, instruments, and basic music theory.
Encourage participation in school music events, performances, and assemblies.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music into cross-curricular activities.
Maintain records of pupils’ progress and contribute to reporting as required.

Person Specification / Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential.
Experience teaching music to primary-aged children.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Enthusiasm for music and performing arts, with the ability to inspire pupils.
