Salary: £160 - £190 per day
Contract: Full-time, contract
Start Date: January 2026

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a school in Harrow. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate young learners, delivering high-quality teaching that supports each child’s academic, social, and emotional development. This is a full-time, contract role starting in January 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.

  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.

  • Develop and implement strategies to support pupils’ individual learning needs.

  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance student learning.

  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities.

  • Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and best teaching practices.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage young learners.

  • Commitment to professional development and teamwork.

  • Must have a valid DBS certificate (or be willing to obtain one prior to starting).
