Start Date: January 2026About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a school in Harrow. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate young learners, delivering high-quality teaching that supports each child’s academic, social, and emotional development. This is a full-time, contract role starting in January 2026.Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Develop and implement strategies to support pupils’ individual learning needs.
Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance student learning.
Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 preferred.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and best teaching practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage young learners.
Commitment to professional development and teamwork.
Must have a valid DBS certificate (or be willing to obtain one prior to starting).
