Responsibilities

• Use assessment to identify gaps and support pupils in mastering key mathematical concepts

• Maintain a calm, orderly classroom environment that aligns with the school’s routines and expectations

• Participate in department collaboration, curriculum development and wider school life

• Uphold the school’s values and willingness to adapt to the Michaela-informed teaching style

Requirements

• Strong academic background, including high achievement in Maths or a related discipline

• Degree in a relevant subject; applicants from highly rigorous academic environments are encouraged to apply

• Strong communication, presence and clarity when speaking with pupils and colleagues

• Evident enthusiasm for working with young people and contributing to a high-expectation school culture

• Willingness to learn, adapt and embrace a highly structured pedagogical approach

• Teaching qualification (QTS) is welcomed but not essential; the school can support unqualified teachers with training
