The Role: Physics Teacher – Redbridge

A well-regarded secondary school in Redbridge is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join their successful Science department. This full-time role involves teaching Physics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including preparation for GCSE and A-Level examinations.

The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, a passion for Physics, and the ability to deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students of all abilities. You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team committed to academic achievement and scientific curiosity.

This role is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to begin their teaching career in a nurturing environment.

A Physics Teacher will be expected to:

• Deliver high-quality Physics lessons to students across KS3–KS5
• Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum and exam board requirements
• Foster a positive learning environment that promotes curiosity and independence
• Monitor and report on student progress and attainment
• Contribute to departmental planning, development, and extracurricular activities
• Ensure high standards of behaviour, safety, and engagement in the classroom

Qualifications and requirements – Physics Teacher – Redbridge

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Degree in Physics or a related subject
• Ability to teach Physics to GCSE and A-Level standard
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students
