Job Type: 8am -6pm, ASAP Start

Location: Richmond Upon Thames

Salary: Up to £17 Per Hour  

The Role: Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Richmond Upon Thames

As a Level 3 Nursery Nurse, you will be a key member of the team, responsible for supporting and leading on the planning and delivery of stimulating activities that promote each child’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

You will act as a Key Person, building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, observing and assessing progress, and tailoring learning experiences to meet individual needs. You’ll also support the emotional, social, and physical well-being of each child, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children can thrive.

A Level 3 Nursery Nurse will be expected to:

• Plan, prepare, and lead age-appropriate activities and experiences in line with EYFS
•  Support children’s development across all areas: cognitive, physical, emotional, and social
• Take responsibility as a Key Person, maintaining accurate records and learning journals
• Ensure the environment is clean, safe, and engaging
• Work closely with parents and carers to build strong home-nursery relationships
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times
• Provide guidance and support to Level 2 staff, students, and apprentices as needed

Qualifications and requirements – Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Richmond Upon Thames

• Level 3 Qualification in Early Years
• Experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
• Experience working with SEND needs
• Enhanced DBS is required
• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
