Salary: £170 – £210 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-time | Long-term | Starting September 2025Educate Staffing is currently recruiting for a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school based in Northolt, within the London Borough of Ealing. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting in September 2025, ideal for a passionate music educator who is committed to delivering high-quality music education and inspiring a love of music in pupils.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music across the primary age range, with a particular focus on developing pupils’ musical skills, creativity, and appreciation for a wide variety of musical styles. The role includes planning and delivering engaging music lessons, leading assemblies and performances, and coordinating musical enrichment activities such as choirs, instrumental groups, or school productions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a music specialist who is keen to play a key role in the cultural and creative life of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver a high-quality music curriculum in line with national and school expectations
Teach whole-class music lessons across KS1 and KS2
Lead and support musical performances, concerts, and assemblies
Encourage participation in extracurricular musical activities
Assess and report on pupils' progress in music
Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with teaching staff and leadership to promote cross-curricular opportunities through music
Uphold high standards of behaviour and engagement during lessons and rehearsals
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent
Specialist subject knowledge and experience in teaching music across the primary phase
Proficiency in one or more musical instruments and/or vocal performance
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Excellent planning, organisational, and communication abilities
A passion for fostering creativity and musical expression in children
Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils
