I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Primary Education in 2010 and have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Having worked within a variety of settings and held different Childcare roles, I have developed strong understanding in catering for children’s educational, social and emotional needs and gained time management, problem solving and team work skills. My focus has always centred on promoting/delivering outdoor education, extending children’s imagination, independence and social skills. As a competent, creative and hardworking Primary Education specialist, I am currently looking to continue my career in a challenging progressive work environment.

In my role as a Pre-school teacher, I planned and implemented activities to support development of children’s literacy and social skills and understanding of basic math and science concepts to help them prepare for their transition to school. I ensured that a creative learning environment (including a lot of outdoor play activities) was in place for a group of 24 children between 3 to 5 years old. I built and maintained strong relationships with parents/guardians to further support the children.
